International Joint Seminar

CPRI UPSI had been hosted an international seminar which was 'International Joint Seminar' with 'Transformative Education For A Global Civil Society: Multidisciplinary Perspectives'. The coordinator for this massive program was Dr. Romarzila Omar who is a Special Pedagogic Cluster Coordinator at CPRI UPSI. This event was conducted on 11th December 2023 where 32 Universities had joined this seminar. There were three different keynote speakers which were Prof. Dr. Nordin bin Mamat (Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Herman Fitrha (Indonesia), and Dr. Melissa T. Bartolome (Philippines).

4th International Conference on Educational Research (4th INCER 2023)

4th International Conference on Educational Research (4th InCER 2023) was a hybrid conference that result as a great collaboration between Malaysia and Indonesia that raise ' Holistic Education Develops Human Dignity' as a theme. 4th InCER 2023 was held on 16th October 2023 with the venue at Universitas Serambi Mekkah Banda Acheh, Indonesia and coordinated by Dr. Romarzila (Faculty of Human Development, UPSI)

Delegation: Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Universitas Riau to the Center of Pedagogy, Research and Innovation (CPRI), FPM, UPSI

The delegation between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Universitas Riau and the Center of Pedagogy, Research, and Innovation (CPRI) at the Faculty of Human Development, Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), was hosted by UPSI. Dr. Romarzila Omar, as the coordinator for this program, played a crucial role in facilitating the collaboration. The visit, which took place in the past, served as a platform for fruitful discussions and exchanges between the two institutions. Dr. Omar's coordination ensured the success of the program, contributing to the enhancement of educational initiatives between UPSI and Universitas Riau. The event underscored the commitment to academic collaboration and innovation in education.

Collaboration Network with the University of Serambi Mecca

UPSI and Universitas Serambi Mekah(USM)  have collaborated to make an impact on education and Dr. Romarzila Omar was the program coordinator.  The main area study of Universitas Serambi Mekah is Islamic and Quranic Studies. One of the reasons UPSI had made the collaboration with USM is because USM also offers Islamic in Early Childhood Education, where this area of study also offered in UPSI.  (October 2023)

Pedagogy Collaboration UPSI and Universitas Syiah Kuala

Dr. Romarzila Omar had coordinated a pedagogy collaboration between UPSI and Universitas Syiah Kuala, Indonesia. This Collaboration invited the ambassador of theCenter of Pedagogy, Research and Innovation (CPRI) and Deputy Director Dr. Mohd Razimi Mohd H. It was an honour that one of UPSI alumni is a lecturer at Universitas Syiah Kuala.

Collaboration Network between UPSI and UIN Ar-Raniry

On 19th October 2023, CPRI UPSI had hosted a collaboration with UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh where Dr. Romarzila became the main coordinator for this collaboration. This amazing collaboration was crucial for pedagogy and 4P discussion where there was an exchange knowledge and opinion of both parties (UPSI & UIN Ar-raniry Banda Aceh) .

History Excellent Teacher Professionalism Certification Workshop

On October 12, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar coordinated a workshop titled 'History Excellent Teacher Professionalism Certification.' The workshop, attended by more than 14 participants, provided a platform for educators to enhance their professionalism in history teaching. Dr. Omar's effective coordination ensured the success of the workshop, fostering a collaborative environment for the participants to attain certification in history teaching excellence.

Delegation: UPSI and Universitas Muria Kudus

On September 4 to 6 2023, a delegation from Universitas Muria Kudus, Indonesia (UMK) was visiting UPSI in term of a program Primary School Mathematics. The experts from both universities discussed onthe program. The main point of this program was to help every participant of the program mastering real-based learning, especially primary school math subjects including a sharing of research in producing grants between UPSI and UMK. In this program, Dr.  Romarzila was one of the committee that makes this program in success.

Delegation: UPSI and Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati

On August 2023, a delegation from the Faculty of Education and Sains, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati came to UPSI to regarding to a group discussion about Curriculum Diversity Navigation: A Focus Group Discussion. Dr. Romarzila Omar was one of the committee that runs the group discussion  between the two universities.

13 Delegation from Indonesia to UPSI

On August 17th, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar coordinated a program under CPRI at UPSI that hosted 13 delegations from Indonesia. During the event, seven Letters of Intent (LOI) were signed, marking a significant milestone in the collaboration between the parties involved. The program, which took place in the past, aimed to strengthen connections and foster mutual benefits for all participating entities. Dr. Omar's effective coordination ensured the success of the initiative, contributing to the continued enhancement of partnerships between UPSI and the Indonesian delegations. The signing of LOIs underscored the commitment to sustained collaboration and shared objectives

Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony between CPRI (UPSI) and Universitas PGRI, Yogyakarta, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dan Yayasan Langgeng Gajitra.

On August 4, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar coordinated a Letter of Intent (LOI) signing ceremony involving four parties: Universitas PGRI, Yogyakarta, Universitas Dahlan, Yayasan Langgeng Gajitra, and UPSI. The ceremony, which took place in the past, marked a collaborative commitment between the institutions. Dr. Omar's coordination ensured the smooth execution of the ceremony, symbolizing a shared dedication to mutual goals and cooperation. The event highlighted the establishment of formalized partnerships and the potential for future collaborative initiatives.

Delegation: UPSI and Universitas Syiah Kuala

UPSI has establish their relationships with Universitas Syiah Kuala. This delegation was coordinated by Dr. Romarzila Omar who is a Special Pedagogic Cluster Coordinator at CPRI UPSI. One of the event of activities that strengthen the relationship between the two universities by spending time together at Bukit Bintang on July 9, 2023. This activity was good for both sides to get to know each other while UPSI landing their hand to Universitas Syiah Kuala to explore places in Malaysia.

Partership between UPSI and Malaysia Techlimpics

On July 7, 2023, the Malaysia Techlympics team came to Faculty of Human Development, UPSI to make a collaboration with the UPSI team to arrange a competition with tittle 'Computational Thinking in Early Childhood Education'. This project was the results from the innovation MechaRoboKidz from PECIPTA 2022 and ITEX 2023 where the innovation contributes to Dr. Romarzila Omar and the team to won the Gold Award for both competitions.

Delegation: UPSI and Universitas Syiah Kuala for Post-Graduate Program

On July 3, 2023, Universitas Syiah Kuala had came to Faculty of Human Development (FPM), UPSI for a delegation in terms of post-graduate program. This delegation was coordinated by Dr,. Romarzila Omar where this program takes place on July 2- July 10 2023.

International Joint Seminar

On July 20, 2023, UPSI hosted an International Joint Seminar at the Faculty of Human Development in collaboration with a delegation from Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram, Indonesia. Dr. Romarzila Omar, the Special Pedagogy Cluster Coordinator at CPRI, UPSI, efficiently coordinated this significant international event. Her role as the coordinator played a pivotal part in ensuring the success of the seminar, which facilitated meaningful exchanges between UPSI and Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram.

International Joint Seminar

On June 20, 2023, Center of Pedagogy, Research and Innovation (CPRI) had organized an International Joint Seminar. Dr. Romarzila Omar who is a Coordinator Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy at CPRI was involved in the seminar as a coordinator.  There was a welcoming speech from Prof Dr. Nordin Mamat who is a Director of CPRI and there was a speech delivery from keynote speakers. This seminar had invited three keynote speaker from different universities. The first keynote speaker was Prof Dr. H. Adi Fadli from Academic and Research Development, Universitas Islam negeri Mataram, second speaker was Dr. Jumarim from Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram and the last keynote speaker was Associate Prof Dr. Abdul Talib bin Mohamed Hashim, Dean of Faculty of Human Development, Sultan Idris Education University.

Consortium of Asia-Pacific Education Universities

Dr. Romarzila Omar served as one of the judges for AKIRA, as invited by the Consortium of Asia-Pacific Education Universities. Her participation in this role was an esteemed honor, contributing to the success of the event. Dr. Romarzila Omar expertise and involvement added value to AKIRA, showcasing her commitment to advancing education within the Asia-Pacific region.

International Conference In Action Research and Innovation In Educational Pedagogy 2023 was coordinated by Dr. Romarzila Omar and hosted by University Pendidikan Sultan Idris(UPSI), with the partnership from more than ten institutes.

CPRI Hard Talk: Another Pedagogy, Another Challenge, What Now?

On August 3, 2022, Dr. Romarzila Omar participated in a talk hosted by CPRI, where she also served as one of the committee members for the program. The virtual event, conducted through the online platform Webex, featured discussions on pertinent topics in the field. Tour Program from University of Slovakia to UPSI

On June 22, 2022, the University of Slovakia visited UPSI for a university tour program. Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated as one of the committee members for the program, which took place in the past. The tour facilitated meaningful interactions and exchanges between the University of Slovakia and UPSI, fostering international collaboration. Dr. Omar's role as a committee member contributed to the smooth execution of the program, enhancing the experience for both visiting and hosting institutions.

World Conference & Innovation in Early Childhood Education 2021 (WCIECE 2021) discuss contemporary and global issues. This conference was hosted by Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) and coordinated by Dr. Romarzila Omar. International conference was conducted on 7th-8th August 2021.
