Children's Robotic Thinking Workshop
Children's Robotic Thinking Workshop program will be conducted on three different dates on May and June 2024 which are 8 May, 8 June, and 22 June 2024. The program's three sessions are a result of increased demand from students and staffs of Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI). The coordinator for this program is Dr. Romarzila Omar who is a Coordinator Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy at the Center of Pedagogy Research and Innovation (CPRI), UPSI. There will be 6 panels of the panel will be involved in the workshop. Every participant is required to pay RM85 for a workshop session.






GEN-AI PEDAGOGY: DESIGN OF ANIMATED EDUCATIONAL VIDEO
On February 10, 24 and May 4, 2024, there will be three different dates for the GEN-AI PEDAGOGY: Design of Animated Educational Video to be executed. The program's three sessions are necessary because of the increased demand from UPSI students and staff. Dr. Romarzila Omar is the program's coordinator and also work as the Coordinator of Specialist Pedagogy at UPSI's Center of Pedagogy Research and Innovation. This program will be conducted through offline and online platforms.






METAVERSE PEDAGOGY: STEMing with Roblox
Metaverse Pedagogy: STEMing with Roblox program will be conducted on three different dates for January 2024 which are 7, 21, and 28 January 2024. The main reason this program has three sessions because there is more demand from students and staffs of the Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI). The coordinator for this program is Dr. Romarzila Omar who is a Coordinator Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy at the Center of Pedagogy Research and Innovation (CPRI), UPSI. Prof Dr Ahmad Zamzuri Mohamad Ali and Nurr Muazzin Md Ghali from Faculty of Art, Sustainability and Creative Industry (FSKIK) will be invited to the program.






Digital Puppetry Workshop: Let Us Save Our Environment
Two dates in January 2024, including January 8 and 9, 2024, will be used for the Digital Puppetry Workshop: Save The Earth program. This program will be conducted at STEM, Faculty of Human Development Lab on different time. Dr. Romarzila Omar who is 'Science for Young Children ' lecturer will be the one who facilitate the program. every participant of this program will receive certificate of participation and also MYCHAMP.






Game Pedagogical Workshop: Roblox in Children's STEM Education
On December 2, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted a game pedagogical workshop while also serving as the coordinator for the program. The workshop, held in the past, took place at the Simulation Lab in the Faculty of Human Development. Mr. Muhammad Tafariz Amin bin Taufik was invited as the main facilitator for this engaging and educational event. The workshop, under Dr. Omar's coordination, provided valuable insights into game-based teaching methods for the participants.


Robotic Workshop




Dr. Romarzila Omar had organized a Teaching and Learning Workshop for three different sessions and date. The first workshop was conducted on 25th January 2023 in the Simulation Lab (Faculty of Human Development). The second workshop was held on 26th January 2023 and the last workshop was on 27th January 2023. All of these Teaching and Learning Workshop involving students who took Early Childhood Education for Bachelor's Degree. This program was hosted by the Center of Pedagogy, Research and Innovation.

Innovation in Early Childhood Education Workshop
On August 24, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar had conducted a workshop that held at Simulation Lab, Faculty of Human Development, UPSI. This event was attended by lecturers from different faculty in UPSI which were Prof Dr. Ahmad Zamzuri, Dr. Mashitah Radzi, Dr. Muhammad Ihsan, Madam Nadia Shahira Amir, and Madam Farhana Nohrin


Licensing in Robotic Product Workshop
Dr. Romarzila was one of the committee of this research grant 'Development of Pre Coding Program Model To Improve Logic thinking Skills and Creativity of Kindergarten Children'. The workshop was held on August 27, 2023 with attendance more than 20 teachers.

On July 12, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar presented a Teacher Professionalism Research Article during an event. The presentation, which occurred in the past, attracted the attendance of several lecturers from various universities, including UPSI, USIM, UKM, and UPM. Dr. Omar's contribution to the event showcased her expertise in the field of teacher professionalism research. The gathering of lecturers from different universities fostered a diverse and enriching exchange of insights and perspectives.


Palm Assessment Workshop and Teacher Professionalism Research Articles Presentation
On June 3, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar had conducted a workshop at Simulation Lab, Faculty of Human Develoment, UPSI. This workshop had four slot and all participants were required to paid around RM 90 (member of Perak Nursery Association), RM 100 (non-member).




Robotic Thinking and Computational Thinking in Early Childhood Education Workshop
On February 27, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar had coordinated a Children's Positive Care Workshop. This workshop was a knowledge sharing from Indonesian speaker who is in childcare of Tadika Raudhah Imtiaz, Terengganu.

Special needs Child Detection Workshop
On Februari 21, 2021, a workshop of Special Needs Child Detection were given by an expert in this field. The speaker for this workshop was Dr. Hajah Noraini Abdullah. This amazing workshop was coordinated by Dr. Romarzila Omar.
On January 30, Dr. Romarzila Omar coordinated a research action workshop through Webex platform, bringing together diverse participants for collaborative exploration. The engaging workshop, featuring interactive sessions and discussions, concluded with each participant receiving a certificate of attendance as a token of acknowledgment for their active involvement.




Action Research Workshop
On October 11, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted a workshop specifically tailored for PhD students, focusing on matrix mapping in PhD research. The workshop, which occurred in the past, primarily delivered essential knowledge on methodology, theory, and literature review. Dr. Omar's expertise guided the participating PhD students in effectively structuring and mapping these critical elements within their research endeavors.

On November 6, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted a workshop on article writing in action research for early childhood education students. The workshop, held on the online platform Google Meet, provided valuable insights into the intricacies of crafting articles in the context of action research. Dr. Omar's guidance and expertise aimed to enhance the students' skills in effective academic writing for the field of early childhood education.

On January 29, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted a workshop on action research for all Form Six teachers at Pontian College. The workshop, which took place in the past, aimed to provide valuable insights and practical guidance on the application of action research in the educational context. Dr. Romarzila expertise and delivery enriched the professional development of the participating teachers, equipping them with tools to incorporate action research methodologies into their teaching practices. The event contributed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and research-based approaches among the Form Six teaching staff.

On January 21, 2022, Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted a workshop on article writing, held through an online platform. The workshop, which occurred in the past, featured three facilitators: Dr. Azizah, Dr. Romarzila, and Sir Hazhari Ismail. Specifically designed for early childhood education students, the workshop aimed to enhance their skills in academic writing. The facilitators, including Dr. Romarzila Omar, provided valuable insights and guidance throughout the session. As a token of recognition for participants, the workshop also offered a certificate of participation, acknowledging their active engagement in the learning experience


Article Writing Workshop : Action Research
On January 10, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar participated in a Strategic Direction Workshop, where she was responsible for Early Childhood Education Research alongside Prof Madya Dr. Loy Chee Luen. The workshop, which occurred in the past, aimed to define strategic directions and priorities for various fields. Dr. Romarzila active involvement showcased her leadership in shaping the research direction within the Early Childhood Education domain, fostering collaboration and strategic planning.
