On March 19 2025, Dr. Romarzila Omar was appointed as a member of the Task Force Committee responsible for evaluating the National Netball Development Program. In this role, she served as a key evaluator, focusing on assessing the program’s structure, effectiveness, and overall impact at the national level. Her appointment reflects her expertise in education and sports development, recognizing her ability to contribute strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing the nation’s netball talent pipeline. From December 28 to 30, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated as the Coordinator of the Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy in a Strategic Planning Workshop held at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya. The workshop, which took place in the past, spanned three days and focused on developing comprehensive plans for the project. The team comprised lecturers from various faculties within UPSI, collaborating to finalize all the necessary papers and strategies for the successful implementation of the project. Dr. Romarzila Omar's role as the coordinator ensured effective coordination and collaboration among the team members during the strategic planning workshop.

SCOPUS Q1 & Q2 Article Writing Sharing
On December 20, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar, serving as the Coordinator of the Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy at CPRI, UPSI, and a supervisor for postgraduate students, conducted a SCOPUS Article Writing Sharing program. This program, held in the past, aimed to provide insights into article writing and invited Muhammad Zufadhli Kamarudin, a master's student in Primary School Science, to discuss various aspects of the process. Dr. Romarzila covered topics such as scoping review, systematic review, and empirical article writing during the session. The sharing program facilitated meaningful discussions and practical guidance for the participants, contributing to their understanding of SCOPUS article writing. Dr. Romarzila Omar's coordination ensured the success of this informative and collaborative initiative.


CPRI International Network with Malikul Soleh University Delegation
On December 13, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar played dual roles as a committee member and coordinator for the CPRI International Network with Malikul Soleh University Delegation. This international network event, which occurred in the past, was hosted by the Faculty of Human Development at UPSI. Dr. Omar's active involvement as a committee member and coordinator contributed to the seamless organization and execution of the program. The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions and collaborations between CPRI and Malikul Soleh University. Innovation Product Sharing in Education
This Innovation Product Sharing in Education held in three session where there were three different speakers for every session. The first session of this program was conducted on 8 February, there will be Dr. Mohd Muslim bin Zalli from Faculty of Human Development (UPSI) as a speaker. For the second session of The Innovation Product Sharing in Education, Dr. Adibah Abu Bakar from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics was invited into this program as a speaker on 15th February 2023 who is an ITEX gold medalist. The last speaker for this program was Dr. Mohd Razmi Hussin from the Faculty of Human Development who is a Creators Gold Medalist. Dr Mohd Razmi had delivered his speaks on 21st February 2023. All of these three sessions were conducted by Dr. Romarzila Omar, a Coordinator Cluster of Specialist Pedagogy from the Center Of Pedagogy, Research, and Innovation.


On September 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar had participated in RMK project as a head of learning upgrade at Kampus Sultan Azlan Shah, UPSI. It took around four days to finish all the papers for the project. The team members of this project were from different background where there were members from Faculty of Human Development, Faculty of Sport Science and Coaching, and Jabatan Pengurusan Pembangunan dan Harta Benda.

On June 3, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar received recognition as a recipient of a 'Consultation of Robotic Thinking and Computational' with a monetary award of RM 3000. This consultation, which took place in the past, acknowledged Dr. Omar's significant contribution to the field. The members of the consultation included Dr. Nor Mashitah Mohd Radzi, Farhana Nohrin Mohd Anuar, Prof Dr. Ahmad Zamzuri, and Mohamad Ali. Dr. Romarzila Omar's expertise in Robotic Thinking and Computational aspects played a pivotal role in the success of the consultation. Her collaboration with the other members demonstrated a collective effort towards advancing knowledge and innovation in this domain. From October 2, 2022, to January 2, 2023, the Center of Pedagogy, Research, and Innovation (CPRI) hosted a program titled 'Perkongsian Pengalaman Program Sangkutan' from Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) to Goethe University in Germany. Dr. Normarini Norzan from the Faculty of Language and Communication (UPSI) served as the speaker for the program, which was conducted through FB Live on February 7, 2023. Dr. Romarzila Omar, representing CPRI, played a crucial role as the coordinator for this special program. The initiative facilitated the sharing of experiences and insights between UPSI and Goethe University, fostering international collaboration. Dr. Romarzila Omar's coordination ensured the success of this meaningful exchange, contributing to the enhancement of academic engagement and global partnerships.

A Visit to Makerspace UTHM
On June 6, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar, accompanied by several fellow lecturers from UPSI, visited Makerspace UTHM for a collaborative initiative. This visit, which took place in the past, aimed to establish a partnership between UPSI and UTHM specifically focusing on robotics. The primary goal was to explore opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of robotics. A Visit from Makerspace UTHM
On May 29, 2023, Encik Muhammad Shukri Ahmad from Makerspace UTHM visited CPRI, Faculty of Human Development, UPSI. This visit, which occurred in the past, was centered around discussions aimed at improving STEM education in Malaysia. The dialogue involved key participants, including Encik Muhammad Shukri Ahmad, Dr. Romarzila Omar, and Prof Dr. Ahmad Zamzuri. UPSI Innovation Challenge & Best Pedagogical Practices
On May 19, 2023, the UPSI Innovation Challenge and the Best Pedagogical Practices competition took place, and Dr. Romarzila Omar served as one of the judges for the event. The competition, held in the past, witnessed active participation from various institutes. Dr. Omar's role as a judge contributed to the evaluation and recognition of innovative practices in pedagogy showcased during the event. Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT)
On May 15, 2023, CPRI, UPSI took a significant step by visiting the Malaysia Board of Technologists at Putrajaya. Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated in this important meeting focused on the tittle of Expert Recognition in Education. The visit, which occurred in the past, aimed to discuss and explore avenues for recognizing expertise in the field of education. Dr. Romarzila involvement in the meeting contributed to the collaborative efforts between CPRI and the Malaysia Board of Technologists in advancing the recognition of expertise within the education sector.

Robotic Thinking and Computational Thinking in STEM Literacy
On March 4, 2023, Dr. Romarzila held a program titled 'Robotic Thinking and Computational Thinking in STEM Literacy' under the Professional Improvement Series Course for Kindergarten Teachers in Malaysia. This program, which took place in the past, was designed to enhance the professional development of kindergarten teachers in STEM literacy. It was a paid program, and each participant was required to pay approximately RM 20. Dr. Romarzila's initiative aimed to equip kindergarten teachers with the knowledge and skills related to robotic and computational thinking, fostering a more comprehensive approach to STEM education. The program's emphasis on professional improvement and practical learning contributed to the participants' pedagogical growth.
On February 22, 2023, the Center of Pedagogy, Research, and Innovation (CPRI) at UPSI hosted a meeting with every director of Institut Pengajian Guru Malaysia (IPGM) at the Faculty of Human Development. A Visit From Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP)
On February 13, 2023, Dr. Romarzila conducted a visit from Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) and served as a consultant for the Consulting Program of the Center for Robotic Pedagogy, Construction of Preschool Modules, and the sending of teachers in Early Childhood Education for Diploma Apel C. This visit and consultation, which occurred in the past, aimed to facilitate discussions and collaborations in the areas of robotic pedagogy and early childhood education. Dr. Romarzila's expertise contributed to the development and enhancement of pedagogical strategies, particularly in the implementation of robotics and the construction of preschool modules. The visit and consulting program fostered valuable partnerships and knowledge exchange between MAIWP and the Center for Robotic Pedagogy. On January 28, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar was the speaker for Online Road Show specifically in Innovation Products to International Conferences. The conference was held through online platform which was by Google Meet.


A Visit Institute for Medical Research
On February 2, 2023, Research Management Innovation Center (RMIC), UPSI had visited the Institute for Medical Research in Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Romarzila Omar was one of the committee in Research Ethics Team that was involved in the visit.


Diploma Student Innovation Workshop
On January 14, 2023, through CPRI, UPSI, there was a diploma student innovation product workshop that conducted through Google Meet where Dr. Romarzila Omar was the speaker for the program. All diploma students were invited to attend the program.


Degree Student Innovation Workshop
On February 2, 2023, as for general knowledge of all degree students, everyone wasinvited to be at Degree Students Innovation Workshop through Google Meet. As for the speaker of the workshop, Dr. Romarzila Omar who is the Special Pedagogy Cluster Coordinator was the one and only speaker for the workshop. This program was under the International Conference in Action Research and Innovation in Education event.

On July 6, 2021, Department of Early Childhood Education and Professionalism of Teachers of the Ministry of Education Malaysia had made a webinar through online platform where Dr. Ruhaya Hassan and Encik Mazhari Ismail were the speaker for the webinar. This program was coordinated by Dr. Romarzila Omar.

On March 12, 2021, Dr. Romarzila Omar was holding a consultation program with SMK Putrajaya Presint 9(1) teachers. Dr. Romarzila Omar conducted the program through online platform which was Google Meet. This program was specialize for teachers who intending to further their career to become a school principal.
