Robotic Thinking in Children's STEM Education Sharing

On July 25, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar had delivered a knowledge transfer session as a main speaker to 80 preschool teachers and headmasters from JPN Perak about STEM awareness in children. The knowledge transfer session was held at National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC), UPSI. This event was done by the collaboration between UPSI, JPN and PPD where the goal of the event was to identify ways and methods through best practice sharing.

Knowledge Sharing at Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan

In the past, on August 8, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated in a knowledge-sharing event at Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan. The event was designed to impart valuable insights and expertise, attracting more than 20 teachers as participants. Dr. Romarzila involvement contributed to the dissemination of knowledge and the exchange of ideas, fostering professional development among the teachers in attendance. The knowledge-sharing initiative aimed to enhance teaching practices and promote continuous learning within the educational community.

Leadership Talent Course

On June 24, 2023, a Leadership Talent Course program took place, featuring Dr. Romarzila Omar as one of the speakers. In the past, this program proved to be beneficial, offering valuable insights with contributions from various speakers. The focus of the sharing sessions revolved around the roles and relationships between mentors and mentees. The program provided a platform for comprehensive discussions, enhancing participants' understanding of effective mentorship dynamics within a leadership context.

Robotic and Child STEM Education

On June 20, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar was having a presentation together with presenter from Indonesia at UPSI. Dr. Romarzila was the leader in the presentation where there were four students under her guidance to join the presentation as a presenter. It was a great presentation, where Dr. Romarzila help the students to improve their soft skill in giving presentation to audiences.

SIG Thinker-Kidz

In the past, Dr. Romarzila Omar participated in a discussion alongside fellow lecturers focused on SIG Thinker-Kidz, led by Prof Dr. Ahmad Zamzuri. The main objective of the discussion, which occurred during that time, was to strategize and elevate STEM education in Malaysia. Engaging in comprehensive deliberations, the participants explored ways to enhance and promote STEM learning initiatives across educational platforms. Dr. Omar's active involvement in the discussion contributed to the collective efforts aimed at advancing STEM education in the country.
